SOLDIER needs help on truck

I have a 1982 Ford f150 step-side. I want to gut the old engine an put in a new one. I have a 351 edelbrock engine (small block) and would like to know were is the best place to buy a crate engine?

What's going on with the 351 that makes you want to swap it? Only thing really better than Edelbrock would be the Ford Racing crate engine. Any Ford dealer should be able to get it for you. Otherwise, I say build your own. I'm doing a build on a 351M block.

By the way, where are you stationed right now?

Man you don't need to do that kind if thing. Don't go asking for help like that. Your obviously very new and think you rate more, the longer your in, the more you think you don't deserve anything.
The people here are GREAT and will help you instantly wether your military, an old mail lady, or a 14 year old kid.
Please show more self worth and some respect for the service members that actually have done stuff.

-Deployed Marine btw.

Don't thank me, I haven't done anything worth while, thank the guys before me that had to invade Normandy, and Korea, and Japan.
Thank chesty puller and guys like him.
Thank the guys who didn't make it back and can't do their own stuff now. Not me, I'm just another guy in peacetime military.

"They also serve who only stand and wait." If we didn't have a peace time military we wouldn't have any peace time.

That is true, but until I get back from my next location, I still won't feel that way.
Btw, my next location, gives me a ribbon while we flex some muscle
