Need a little help please.
I have a 351 Windsor short block that's on a stand that I can't move. What I can see is 351 WCP 1. My late husband was going to complete the engine to put into his 53 truck. But my thought is the 53 runs and I could use the cash if this 351 is worth any thing. Which means I need to know how to identify this engine block. Thanks in advance.

Sorry to hear your husband couldn't complete his project. I doubt that the exact year of the block is of too much concern to potential buyers. If it's a complete short block, rebuilt, just put it on Craigslist for maybe $500. If you have receipts showing rebuild, cam specs, etc. maybe more. If it isn't rebuilt (or you don't have receipts to prove that), it's at best maybe a $200 item. Maybe someone else can provide a sanity check on these prices. Good luck!

Sorry for your loss. Consider letting us know what part of the country you are in. There are many guys on the forum that would be interested in buying it. Good usable 351w's are not rare but complete ones are nice to find. Again, sorry for your loss.
