I am debating which engine to install in my 78 f150 4x4, it is between a 351 cleveland 4v or 2v and the 400 that is currenly in the truck, all 3 engines which ever one I choose will have to be gone through, so I am trying to decide on which one to use, I posted this on the engine forum but didn't get to much info, as for the cleveland I have got a small block bellhousing for my np435 tranny but I would like to run headers on which ever engine I choose and I don't won't to run into a lot of issues like having to notch the frame and such for the headers and the engine mounts not lining up, if it is going to be a big hassle I will just use the 400 and save back the clevelands for another day, if anyone has installed a cleveland in one of these trucks I would like to have some ideas, I also thought of getting a block kit from performance automotive warehouse that will be complete it will just need to be assembled with all the goodies, if anyone has any information on there kits I would like to here it
I know this probably belongs in the engine forum but I am trying to gather as much info as possible to be able to make an informed decision
thanks
