Injector question w/ pic

Well I blew my headgaskets so I took my heads into a shop to have tested so I pulled my injectors and glow plugs and found the ends of the injectors to seem wierd. I haven't ever had to pull mine until now so I just want to know what you guys think.
The injectors are clean except for one on each side. One injector on each side of the engine has gunk all around the end and inside the injector cup where it sits in the head. All the other injectors are ok looking just a little burnt. But im thinking the gunk on the two dirty injectors is from combustion gases. But it's wet and smells burnt. Could blown head gaskets allow coolant and soot to blast up the injector? All washers are in place too. Any input would be appreciated

Was the copper still on the end of the 2?

Also if the heads are still on you may want to run a compression test. Sort of curious.
But you don't have to. If you do I would stick then back in as-is with a little clean up. You
won't have to drop the oil rails back on.

If the coppers are missing then that may be the problem. Also if they are not
what shaper are they in? As in burned or eroded.

Ya copper washers on the 2 are in place and look just like the others just black. And the heads are in the shop so no compression test. I guess that would give me and answer on those two injectors. I believe they were no. 3 and 4. But I was just wondering if anyone has seen injectors look like this. The wetness on them is what has me puzzled. I guess ill get new o rings and washers for all of them.

I would guess those particular injectors were under-torqued.

Good call. I did have two injectors replaced right when I got the truck. Don't know what numbers but I wonder if he didnt torque them enough. What about all the other ones? Is that brownish burnt color on the other 6 normal?

I would say the 1st injector on the left in both pics is normal.

There shouldn't be a heavy coating on varnish on the nozzles like that. However, I have cleaned, o-ringed and re-used injectors like that.

The two with the heavy build-up are toast IMHO
