Don't want the chip? Pull it off. Tape over the hole in PCM metal can (if the cap in post #28 is gone). Reinstall PCM and be prepared for less power.

Heres the deal. I have a superchips programmer. I didn't know there was a chip there and had been using my programmer that's why I don't want the chip. I have the hole taped over, reinstalled my program and all seems to be well. Thanks all.....

It an old gold style chip and its in the mail!
