If you just turn the key on (not start) you should hear the fuel pump run for about 20 seconds. Did the old fuel filter have gelled fuel in it? Is your engine oil full? Did the check engine light come on?
Locate the drain tube from the fuel bowl - passenger side of the block, metal tube - place a drain pan under it, open up the fuel drain valve on the filter bowl, turn key to on position and see if you have a strong stream of fuel coming out. With the temps you guys are seeing right now in the upper mid-west, you might just have some gelled fuel in the tank and fuel bowl.
no gelled fuel in filter in fact it was warm no light on i didnt check the oil level but i will. if its full ill try and c how much fuel comes out the tube brb thanks

How many times have you tried to start it? If the battery voltage drops too low, the IDM won't fire the injectors, no matter how fast the engine is spinning. Any smoke out the tail pipe while cranking? Have a battery charger or jumper cables handy?
Oops, I scrolled over your previous post about the charger being on the truck. You might have knocked the batteries so low that they will need a good charge before they turn the truck over. But to recap, you cannot get it started, right? Turns over but doesn't catch?
