I talked about this some earlier....but I can't remember if it was on this site or another one ( I cruise a few others) Anyway, I'll bring you up to speed now.
When plowing in the past, three or four different times when I would make my shift to start ahead with a pass the throttle would be dead. Now this was just for a split second really, by the time I realized it happened it would recover and work fine. and the only time it happened was when I was attempting to start ahead from a stop. That being said it hasn't done it the last couple of times I plowed and I have no codes that I can find.
I haven't pursued this any further at this time because I really don't have a direction to go. I'm kinda looking at this as maybe just an electrical glitch (like maybe the transmission hadn't settled in to where it needs to be as quick as usual and that may have affected the throttle switch or something along that line, Idk) I was wondering if anyone has ever had this happen before?
I also will add that my FICM was in the range that everyone says is safe 47.5 to 48.5 and my ICP is well within range of where it should be Idleing hot at around 580 +/- and snaps up from there real quick. Thanks for any input. Sorry for the kinda long post but I wanted to try and be clear with what was happening.
good luck..been dealing with this issue since christmas
Any ideas?
I had one poster on another site tell me to check my wiring down around mt foot peddle, but it hasn't done it since before he mentioned that so I haven't delved into it...I'm thinking the old 'ignore it and maybe it will go away' method but..........I don't really want to have to strap on my hiking boots either so I'm all ears here.
Sorry about not getting back to answer your question earlier, for some reason FTE don't send me notifications when my posts have been responded to.........and the answer to your question is non-adjustable peddles.
