throttle issues

throttle issues
1999/f-350/7.3L/209,000 miles
ok here goes nothing. i am going to try and explain my problem. i posted about a month ago describing my throttle problem. i would be at a stop and depress the throttle but not have any response, the check engine light would come on and then go away within seconds. i tried some lube on it but only helped for about a week. i started looking more into the throttle and notice what seems to be a nutreul sensor it releases when i depress my throttle, well it looks to be chipped away and is about to fall out of its house. if anyone knows what i am talking about could you let me know what is called and if i need a entire new pedal assembly or if there is some thing else i can do to fix????

Sounds like that may be your problem. I have been seeing a few of these threads lately. I think the dealer will only sell the whole assembly. Some one will come in here and let you know for sure. I am kind of bumping this.

You can get them from powerstrokeshop too, they list them by build date and include 99s
