the plastic bushings ford used to hold it to the top of the steering column are worn out... common problem with the trucks that have over 100K miles like mine... even more so when theyre used for commercial... which for a 1/3 of my trucks life thats what it was used for...

3.50 something a bushing.. there be 2 of em... so with shipping its about 10 or 11 bucks... the retainer clamps look similar to the retaining plates on the drive shaft u-joints... the clamps look like theyre held on with torx screws.. so ill have to disassemble the dash and the steering column again.. along with removing the cluster to get to the rear ones...
