Never enough Shawn! What did you do today?

 

Spent the day cussing at the 350 and the parents...

 

Uh oh. What happened?

 

350 - the prndlll been little loose.. So took the dash apart to investigate.. Apparetly the plastic bushing are worn out.. Which is what's letting the lever move.. While I had the dash out I decided to investigate the power port again.. Before when I tried to troubleshoot it not working it suddenly started working again... Got in the truck the next day nothing.. Neghibors trucks doing the same.. I just decided F* it.. And replaced it with a universal.. Downside is ford used a plastic plug to hold it in place so what should have been a 7/8" hole.. Was made into a hole bigger than 1". Had to find some washers to fix that issue... Then discovered my female blade connectors walked off somewhere again...

Whole time I was dealing with that.. The parents decided to mess withthe truck.. "Trying to be helpful" they refilled my washer fluid tank.. I've been trying to clear that tank out for the last couple months cuz I didn't like what the shop filled it with. That craps been nothing but problems.. I had the tank almost to half when they refilled it.. Now that craps been remixed and gonna take forever to empty again..

 

problem with the crap thats in that tank is its more of a soap mix than actual window cleaner.. so all it does is smears whatevers on the window.. and on top of that anytime it gets remotely near 32 it freezes the system completely... and whats worse is it doesnt dilute either.. once i got it emptied id planned to take the tank off and thoroughly clean it out and also replace the tubing as well... but now it gotta wait again..

 

did find wires in my truck... decided to follow them to see where they went.. found this mess under the carpet.. Im gonna rip out next time i have the dash apart..


and since i had the dash apart anyways... i test fitted my fun gauge pod to see how itd fit.. found out itll be alot easier to mount with the time comes...

 

Looks like it was a busy day. That silver plug looks like it went into either a cb or a radio.

i am picky about my windshield fluid. I hate smears on the window when i drive.

 

plug for satellite radio... the lil antenna box is still on the roof.. now that i know for sure the box isnt in the truck im gonna rip em out..

i am too.. im tired of the nozzles freezing up when i need em.. and the crap smearing the window... thats why i was trying to use it up so i could clean it out and refill it with stuff i know works right...

 

Couldn't you just hold it down and run through it all?

That Guage pod looks good too. Very unobtrusive.

 

wanted to actually use it with a purpose.. i could suck it outta the tank and just dump it but didnt want to waste it like that.. problem has been every time i NEEDED it is when the thing froze up...

thats where the fun ones going to go

 

Well hopefully the weather will warm up and you will use it through the spring and summer.
