Evening, VA. Ran a call last night around 10:30 for a transformer fire. Stood around for an hour waiting for the power company to shut off the power, ran water on the smoldering telephone pole for 10 minutes, caught a hydrant to top off the engine's tank, and finally got home around 12:30am. I need a nap!

Howdy Devin. The late night calls catch up to you the next day sometimes.

They definitely do, Shaun. Didn't hit me as bad as that 2am call the other week at least. I got some nozzle time last night, so it was definitely worth the lack of sleep.
