thats the other reason i like 4 post.. but youll want to make sure the one you get the ramps either flip up or can come off.. most the alignment lifts like that theyre fixed on there... and most times wont go high enough for you to get another under it..
i personally never likes the in ground ones.. primary reason they always seemed to get in my way when i was working under them...
yup... least with the exterior posts you can pretty much do it yourself if your competent enough.. and if you get the right ones theyll work off 112 vs 220..
they do.. as long as you know what your doing its not a problem.. youd be surprised how many top lifts ive seen with crooked bolts holding them in place.. lol..
In ground 2 posts are ok as long as the material used in back fill does not corrode the cylinders. Then there is also the possibility of oil leakage.
Above ground lifts usually require a min of 8" of concrete.
"Backyard Buddy" 4 post electric is nice because it goes high enough to park a vehicle underneath. The wheel kit allows for movement inside the garage. There is a guy near here that has a 4 post outside for a lot of his work.
Most of the above grounds need 12 ft ceilings.

other than the lift always being in the way with the underground ones.. the other reason i didnt like them was they either had to be all the way up for the safety lock or all the way down on the ground.. there wasnt an in between that was "safe".. which strained my neck alot of times ntm put some things outta reach at times.. with the above grounds they have several locking points on them for safe rest down on.. making it easier for me to reach things and little less stressful on the neck..
