I`m looking at the DC 250 but I don`t understand why I would change the pulley? More info please,,

The smaller is used on the 140 amp OEM alternator. DC alternators already come with small pulleys.

It spins the alternator faster at idle so that you get more
power at the idle level.

Yep, that's the one I ordered. That on a 140 should work just fine and I won't need to upgrade my wiring.

You Don't have to your not Adding to much more power that its a Must

But anything Helps make your Own its cheap if you want

Bade35, got one of those for my son for Christmas at DC power and they said I didn't have to up grade the wires. Did you do that just because, or did someone say you had to?

Quick update... Installed the new 140 w/58mm pulley the other day. I decided to let my Ford Tech friend install it and he showed me the "kickstand" trick. Took less than 10 min to swap them out.

Well DC threw in the wire upgrade for Free

I would have made my own if they didn't

It just helps the electrical system with Better Flow and Less Resistence
