VT365 engine
I've come across a 2004 VT365 engine for sale. I was thinking about buying it to keep a few of the things on it as spares and part out the rest of it. Guy is asking 550. My questions are do you guys think its worth it since it is a little different than the 6.0? and are a good amount of the parts compatible with the 6.0. Like the injectors, turbo, sensors?

Virtually the same engine. The thing you have to be careful with parts wise is that the pistons in that time frame can be different and glow plugs different lengths. That's a cheap price if the internals are good.

Exactly right. Does the HPOP have a cast iron or aluminum cover? Aluminum would indicate an 05 and up. Not really a problem either.
