Anyone have a sort of starter cutout or dead switch?
My truck wouldn't crank tonight, so after a little bit of thinking and troubleshooting it was due to the fact that, since my truck had the neutral safety switch cut out, the red and blue trip wire was just twisted together and came loose when I was under the dash. I'm thinking of putting in a starter kill switch, just cuz it would be so dang easy. Or else just fix the connection a little more permanently.
I would do both if you want one. Having a neutral safety switch is nice. My truck has an electric fuel pump and I have a switch under the dash to turn it off if I want to.
How 'bout a "cargo" light switch that is actually for the ignition? For whatever year of Bump. Too obvious for thieves to find. Especially if wire connections soldered and then shrink wrap over it. Butt connectors too obvious to find. Cargo light can be blended in with the dome lamp if the particular Bump in question has the two different switches.
