Hey all, I just got my 71 done. I wanted it to look like a 70s shop truck and I think I got it right. It has a 390 auto with factory air. I got it from a buddys dad who is too old to drive anymore and since I build cars he let me have it. I remember riding in this truck when I was little so it has sentimental value. I can't wait for spring.

Yeah I know, everybody was wanting me to make a shortie out of it. I never even considered making it a short box. It was born this way so I left it alone. Besides I wanted to keep it as simple as possible (and cheap). Heck, It still has the power drum brakes. I rebuilt them and it stops pretty darn good.
