its a 550....the reading on the cylinders is inconclusive ONLY bc there wasnt fuel pressure....IM HOPING that is due to the delamination in the tank clogging the fuel filters, AND The sending unit circuit issue....
Im installing the new tank NOW. After its installed im going to blow out the lines, and change the fuel filters AGAIN.....then install new sending unit. Hoping its cured after this............if not, i have injector problems.
P2269 indicates water in fuel condition; Drain water in fuel separator, defective WIF sensor, circuit integrity. This isn't a sending unit in the tank code.
I'd replace the fuel pump, clear the codes, and retest.
why then did they tell me its the sending unit? Also gas gauge now doesnt work?
UPDATE: Ok new tank installed....NEW fuel pump installed.....New fuel filters installed....blew out both lines with air hose from tank to frame mount filter.....then blew out lines from motor top filter back to frame rail filter....REMOVED fuel pump housing disconnected 4 fuel lines, on the bench, took entire unit appart and cleaned thoroughly then reinstalled.
EVERYTHING HAS BEEN CHANGED NOT EXCEPT FOR THE SENDING UNIT. I ALSO DISCONNECTED BOTH BATTS AND TURNED HEADLIGHT ON FOR 30MIN TO RESET

If ur talking bout the gas gauge ticker looking thing on ur dash, and it ain't working, it's probably the damn ticker on the dash being dead or the fuel sending unit tat sits on top of the tank.
Mine has been shot since I bought the truck over 3 years ago. Mine is possessed btw. Whenever it comes down to half tank, it either jumps back up to full or drop to empty. Then it gives me a message on my dash. Fuel level data error. Stupid thing. After a while, it jumps back to normal level which would show a 1/4 tank. I've lived with it so long cos as soon as most of my mods are out the way, I'm getting a 65 gallon Titan fuel tank and a new fuel sending unit.

I just copied and pasted the code description from the book. Have you/they checked the harness? Not much to it.

You say the problem still persists? By that do you mean it still has low fuel pressure? If so have they checked ( as suggested earlier ) the fuel pressure regulator to make sure it isn't stuck open? What brand of fuel pump was used and did you replace just the pump or the entire HFCM? The injectors are likely damaged due to low fuel pressure and just restoring the fuel pressure will not fix them, any that were damaged due to low fuel pressure will need to be replaced. But I would not install any new injectors until the fuel pressure issue is resolved.
What started from Fords delaminating gas tank ended up destroying the fuel pump and all eighth fuel injectors total cost out of pocket $5,000... With absolutely no recourse new gas tank fuel pump 8 new injectors..
