I have seen the lokar cable setups with modded or custom brackets.
I have found threads with unique bellcrank setups involving heim joints, all-thread, custom brackets w/ press fit bearings, etc.
Just goes to show its not always what you buy, so much as what you build...only at the mercy of one's imagination.
Posting this for two reasons.
1) To have a central location for noobs and experienced folks alike to find what would work best for them once they take the plunge and do their intake swap. To see what others have already done, so that they, themselves have something to build from. Perhaps it'll be promoted to a sticky at some point.
2)Thanks to those that have already made threads/posts including pics and comments regarding this already. Please feel free to post your handywork here proudly. I'm a function over form kinda guy, but there's nothing wrong with having a good looking engine bay either lol.
On my old sideways holley 2bbl I think I just trimmed up and bent the factory bracket and used an intake/exhaust mounting bolt for it if I remember right....this was back in the 90's tho.
On my current one the carb will be facing forward and I haven't got that far yet lol

It's my hope that more folks will continue to post their findings on here as the throttle seems to be a common issue with the intake upgrade.
Actually on my intake my carb is mounted the wrong way but I had it how it's supposed to be and I didn't notice a big difference the way it's sitting in the picture I swear I could feel the secondaries kick in when I'm cruising down the highway.
