CPS

Will my 96 P.S. run with a bad CPS? It runs ok at high rpm but under 2000 rpm it stutters a little. I have been told time for injectors but would like to try all the cheaper stuff first.

It can. They do some strange things sometimes. If you get one get it from ford or IH only.

All DAY .....what 427FORMAN said...not worth the time......It HAS to be OEM... Even they will be contaminated...ME ..International....now and forever.....Made in Mexico on my boxes.......

I just got a 97 powerstroke on a trade it goes into limp mode and wont shift out of 2nd gear but after a few it will start to shift normal. No lights come on either. The person i got it from said that he was told it was the PCM. Any idea if he right or not?
