No? If Toyota has several thousand vehicles that exhibit the same problems They recall them abs pickup the Bill. Trying to get Ford to pick up the bill for anything is like trying to pull teeth. But they're more than happy to sell you a new vehicle. Wouldn't it be interesting if Hyundai started making full size trucks in the USA?
Really??? I know many many people who would argue that with you as well.
No I am an auto body collision repair tech. I have worked on makes and models repairing both full frame and unibody vehicles. Plus I have also worked in several GM dealerships in their bodyshops. There was a reason those companies need the bailouts. Oh plus I should mention that I have a brother that works for a towing and recovery company and another that is a mechanic.
And? So what gives you such a hard on for Ford trucks? Can't cope with the fact that you paid too much for it and you have to love it ?
Hyundai, Now I know your grasping at straws so to speak. Ask anyone who has had their 5 year old car that failed inspection due to rust through on the engine cradles and floor pans that the company didn't stand behind.

He** no as a matter of fact my least favorite vehicle that I own is my 98 Expy. But why do I have to prove myself to a troll? You still haven't given proof to your previous statements!!! When the He** are you going to do so. TROLL!!!

Well with our government giving them freebies and doesn't make them pay import taxes on their vehicles where do you think things are headed? Tell me you'd be happy to drive a 2.7 L F150 with start stop technology . Please tell me you'd be happy to drive That garbage. Tell me it's knocking our problems out the azz . And once your warranty expires you're on your own
I always get a kick out of posts like this. If you stop to think about it, the changes that Ford has presented with the 2015 are as thought provoking as some of the previous big changes.
Not sure if you're old enough to have questioned Fords decisions in the past or not, but some of us said "this or that change is going to be a problem". Like when we when from the old push rod motors to those new fangled overhead cams motors, or when we went from coil spring front ends to torsion bars or when we gave up old fashion hubs for IWEs or three speed autos to four and then six, and this list goes on and on. These were all HUGE problems in our minds, well guess what, they really weren't. And in all likelihood the changes we are seeing with the 2015 aren't likely to be a problem either.
I say have a little faith in Ford's decision to make all of the new and exciting changes that will be heading to a dealer near you later this year. Will these new trucks be flawless, nope. Just as none before them have ever been. The bigger challenge is not the vehicle designs it's the level of competence that Fords network of dealership service offers. The projected problems there are/will be THE issue.
As for me, I'm not passing judgment on the 2015 until I see them and drive them. All of the info out there today is based on pre-production models and in some ways is subject to change.
I never said I was interested in the 2.7 with start stop tech. Did I? Again though what difference does that make? Where is your proof of your prior statements? Troll. Oh You should really talk to anyone with the GM 5.3 from 09 to current about the problems with there MDS technology and the assumed repair costs that GM stuck them with. Every car maker will stick you with a repair bill after the warranty is over. Again no proof to your claims!!! TROLL!!!

That's fords biggest problems is their network of dealerships trying to rape everyone on repairs. I actually had a service advisor try to sell me ball joints on my 2003 explorer four times before I even replace them . Absolutely ridiculous. Go stand in the service advisor area then you'll hear the stories . People saying that's the third time I've had to do that . They're your best friend when they're selling you a new vehicle, when something goes wrong with it all they give you is the runaround and a big Bill. I think if they stopped paying service advisors based upon the repairs they sold things make it a little better. And maybe do something really revolutionary like maybe a 150,000 mile powertrain warranty earn our confidence back.
If you saw the list of repairs that I have had to do on my forwards over just the last couple of years your jaw would hit the floor. It's not a wonder as to why people are starting to buy more imports
No really
Ford could have taking government money but decided not to because of the Strings attached. GMC will forever stand as Government Motors Company.
Let's see the last sells report I read had Chev/Dodge I mean FIAT(Fix It Again Tony) with a loss of sales, and Ford had a Increase in sales.
Some frame flex could be a good thing, it depend on your usage.
PS I really love my V10 and the 6.7. I beat on those trucks and they simple work for me.
I am the last person to say troll AND I am saying troll. At least spend some time doing some research.
Hey do you drive Toyota Prius? if so thank you for saving me gas for the V10. That V10 a lot.
Sorry got to work today 3 AM and I am a bit punch drunk(Tired)
I have gone though all you post ...it does seem to me that you came here to stir the pot, if you chose to continue, please do follow our very simple but effective Guidelines, the ones I know you have read .

As far as the frames being weak, I had the bed and can Off of my frame on my 2012. I could lift the rear corner of the frame and pick the wheel up off the ground . The whole thing flexed. It was as bad as a ranger.
So, you physically picked up the back corner of your frame with all the suspension and everything still attached? With your own hands?
This was 2009 and def biased as marketing pieces. Im certain dodge, GM and toyota have videos showing their strengths over Ford as well. Lets compare the driveline reliability. Im sorry guys but im almost sold on the cummins truck, 2500 series. I never see any fords winning tractor pulls.
It seems like if you want a "Real Truck" in todays world you need to pony up to at least a one ton. The 3/4 ton trucks seem to be glorified SUVS. The full frame is the only reason im keeping my 03 explorer, well that and the thousands in repairs that i have dumped into it.
