projected problems with 2015 Fseries

So you are going tractor pulling with your truck
This was 2009 and def biased as marketing pieces. Im certain dodge, GM and toyota have videos showing their strengths over Ford as well. Lets compare the driveline reliability. Im sorry guys but im almost sold on the cummins truck, 2500 series. I never see any fords winning tractor pulls.
It seems like if you want a "Real Truck" in todays world you need to pony up to at least a one ton. The 3/4 ton trucks seem to be glorified SUVS. The full frame is the only reason im keeping my 03 explorer, well that and the thousands in repairs that i have dumped into it.

Jaguar has been building aluminum cars for quite a few years now.
They have proven to be a very effective.
The comment about frame flex, funny as I find it , is unfounded.
New technological advances do leave the closed minded grasping at straws.
I stay young, by keeping up with technology.

5. Vendor Promoting. Recommendations of vendors by users is encouraged, but excessive promotion of vendors (cheer leading) will be viewed as advertising. Please make sure your participation on FTE is more than just promoting or advertising for a vendor or product.
Bottom line is no more pictures about your truck or theirs as pertaining to what they build, this is about the 2015 F150...lets get it back to the discussion at hand

So You do realize even if every member here had a brand new ford, and every member had an issue that would only be a quarter of the total sales for one year. Forums are places to post information and solve problems. This is why you see so many. That doesn't mean the problem is in every vehicle or even common. Even the most problematic motor the 6.0 has probably one problem to every 100 good trucks.
As far as frames go. Do you think they aren't supposed to bend or that steel is incapable of bending? If they didn't bend they would break. Even sky scrapers bend but they don't fall down.
And about the stop start technology. Have you posted this same concern in any hybrid forums because im pretty sure they use basically the same technology and have lasted a good long while now.
And lastly. About the smaller ecoboost motor. You do realize these aren't little Honda civic tuner motors right. Its not a n/a motor with a turbo puffing black smoke from its fart can. It is a purpose built motor so therefore it has better parts to handle the power. Your old school mentality about bigger is better is long gone. If a smaller motor can make more power more efficiently then why is that worse? After all power is efficiency so I'm actually pretty damn proud of the power it makes. For the average person it will be more then enough

That is .........what is good about debate, respecting each view but tearing the crap out of it with logic and good understanding of engineering.
And we as consumers should demand that....however I think it has fallen on deaf ears because all the manufactures give so many new ...cool things ...that we want to change to the next model...long before we give the platform a chance to wear out...IMO
Tough to demand when the the stock holders that drive the same cars we are debating .....and they want the bottom line to keep going up. profit profit profit

I just think the automotive manufacturers have been building under-performing vehicles for years not just ford . The motor does show what can be done with a small displacement however I don't think they're going to last as long as they should for the money you're going to spend on a truck.
I'm in organize after dumping 70 Grand on pick up trucks that Fall apart and have stupid problems, I honestly feel the general public deserves a higher quality product for their dollar not just because that's what they can sell them for nBuilding as cheap as possible
