changing fluids
Hello, I was wondering what everyone is using for their trans, diff, power steering and brake fluid? I have been reading a lot of posts about Mobil 1 ,Redline and Royal Purple being used in various combinations for the f250.
My truck is due for a change/flush very soon and I want to get the best that I can for my truck. Thanks to all

As long as it is within specs go with it. I used the Mobil 1 synthetic ATF for the transfercase and will be using Mobil1 gear oil for the axles later. Transmission on my truck is supposed to use Mercon V (4r100).
With out model, year, and setup it is hard to say what you should use.

Exactly. Without knowing what truck you have all I can do is to tell you to use the proper fluid. The wrong fluid will destroy your transmission.
