Synthetic or regular?
I have a 01 PSD F-350 HD Crew Cab with 90,000 miles. I am going to change the tranny fluid and question if I should go from the regular MERCON fluid to SYNTHETIC Mercon. Any thoughts good or bad on the idea? Any recommendations on synthetic brands in a mercon formula? Thanks in advance.

A lot of the newer trannies use the Mercon V, which is either full syn or semi syn. I bet your tranny uses mercon V. If so you need to choose either a syn that is mercon V compatible or just use Mercon V fluid which like I said is at least semi syn anyway.
