And all of this stuff

Only effects the EGR

My shop manual shows a "with amplifier" and a "without amplifier" image I am going to bypass all of this and hook it up per the without amplifier diagram:

EGR to output of PVS ported vacuum to input of PVS and see what happens anybody else have this set up?

If that works I can keep the EGR which seems like a good idea, especially since I have to in Cali for the smog popo, and I will have the evap system which also seems like a good thing, but I can get rid of a bunch of that spagetti!

I am sure the Engioneers at Ford had a reason for all of this, put seems like if I can keep what little smog equip it had and simplify the system that would be the best of both worlkds.

On the picture you are showing the vacuum amplifier and egr vacuum solenoid face are you susposed to have a two prong plug that possibly broke off on the front of the egr vacuum solenoid above the vacuum line ports? I'm in search of one because I have smog but a federal emissions in California. Mine was completely gone.

Found the right one. Your picture is of a broken one and that was what was trying to locate without any luck

Where its labled part 2 is the same as the one you are showing. This is a complete plugged in one
