Stereo upgrade
I also put in a Pioneer FH-X700BT a few months ago. So far, so good. CD, Bluetooth, AUX, USB capable.
You can order the parts from Crutchfield or SonicElectronix.
OEM fit, plug and play. no cutting or dash mods. You will need to order the mount bracket as the stock ears off the stock deck won't attach.

Too many options to list but, look em up on the net.
My truck is in the shop getting a new Turbo installed or I'd have a pic of it installed to show you.

That Astrium GEE-2865 looks pretty good, I would definitely put that in my truck.
See the pic I posted?
No mount bracket to attach it to the dash. Nobody makes one, either.
The arrow under "APPS" doesn't go anywhere and some of the options are not accessible.
My review on amazon.com...
This model is supposed to be specific for the Ford/Lincoln line of vehicles. IT IS NOT.
I have an 06 F350 and have had nothing but problems. I'm in the process of sending it back for a refund
It doesn't come with a mount bracket that has the 4 tabs that allow it to be bolted to the dash.
Nobody makes a bracket that fits it and allows it to be bolted to the dash. So it just sits there and your "pop-in" dash panel is what holds it in.
I have had one for less than a month and the GPS stopped working. The default settings keep being loaded instead of the setting I put in it like: Time zone, radio stations, etc.
The Steering wheel controls are erratic - Volume up/down will either change the volume, the radio stations or presets on a whim.
The iPod control shows you your library but won't let you scroll. If you try, it will select the last line you touched while trying to scroll the list. It doesn't control the iPod as described like the thumbwheel.
Emailed the company about the buying the mount bracket and got a canned message back referring me to the .pdf installation instructions. Ya thanks for that. The directions are vague on operation and setup of the unit and a lot of the functions have no explanation other than it's available.
Scratch the Astrium system... What a pile o ****e !
this was am eBay purchase from TRUSTIGOELECTRONICS
I contacted "trustigoelectronics" in Ontario, Canada for a refund citing the problems described in my previous post...
They refused to give me a refund. They said you only have 30 days to return it.
Well, It was bought as a Christmas present and I didn't get it installed till the 29th of Dec.
It quit working midway through January. I tried doing updates, resets, etc. Nothing worked. So On January 28 I emailed them asking for a refund. They said send it back to this address and "put on the shipping label "return for repair" so you won't be charged import duties at Customs"...
They sent it back to me, no refund just the POS radio that doesn't work as they describe.
I wouldn't buy another and I wouldn't buy anything from them ever again.

I know it's going to be somewhat idd topic. But did you file a complaint with Ebay?
I just dealt with one here a few Mo back and finally won. It took a phone call to get
the refund.

Since the TrustIGOelectronics jacked me around long enough for the 30 days to expire, eBay said I was SOL even though (after I asked for a refund) I had an email from the seller saying send it back COD with instructions to mark the shipping label return for repair "so you don't have to pay Canadian duties" on the item.
Which I did send it back and 2 weeks later, it's on my door step again. I sent it back to them as "Return to Sender".
two weeks later again it shows up via fedex. <- this is how they get past the 30 day return policy, BTW.
I sent it back and filed a complaint, now 30 days is past and eBay says I'm SOL.
It reappears and I signed for it since it am out 850 bucks and I don't want to have nothing to show for it. At least I have the radio, now.
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
Did you ever get the Astrium straightened out?
Looking at some of the Chinese units for my ford, as they are the only ones that look OEM. Just wondering if you ever got the unit running right ?
Thanks for any feedback,

I sold it on fleecebay. The buyer stole the SD MEMORY card and manual. Then filed a claim w/ fleecebay saying it wasn't in it.
Ebay screwed me again. no seller protection anymore.
I ordered a new SD mem card with the nav data on it via another vender as Astrium-electronics.com has no customer service at all.
unit works great now.
I'll sell it if anyone wants a good OEM fitting nav unit.
