i have a 2005 f-350, i am looking for a cd player that has an aux in put and a sub out put and still retain the radio controls in the stering wheel dose anyone even know if any thing like that exists?
You can use one of these with an aftermarket radio to keep the steering wheel controls. Products
I haven't looked recently, but there should be quite a few with pre-amp out puts. My last headunit had 3, front, rear and summed. It also had a RCA input. PAC also has interfaces, should your new head unit not have inputs, but changer controls.
Try Pacific Accessory Corp at this web site...Authorized dealer info
They make adaptors that will plug into the back your factory stereo and give you inputs or RCA outs to add amps, subs etc.
I am using one in my truck and have it bi-amped to about 700 watts with no trouble at all. Plus since it is all hidden from view and looks like a plain-jane stock stereo, I don't feel as worried about someone breaking into my truck for the stereo.
I have an Alpine CDA-9883 and its a really nice deck. Has all teh features you want as well as it has the option for the ipod hookup with a cable and to use bluetooth
You can buy a P.I.E adapter that will allow you to retain the stock controls on the steering wheel
