That is correct. This chart for 1966 gives all the rates. If you look at the column headings it is per spring. It also gives the left hand and right hand for deflection rates for the front springs. Passenger side is heavier spring. But only on the 2WD trucks and not the 4WD trucks. And opposite on the Bronco - heavier springs on drivers side.
Thanks guys!
I really appreciate your input.
The gentleman at Eaton Spring said their HD spring was rated at 1750 per pair.
My springs are the 1250 lb ones but they are wore out.
I would like to find springs in the 1450-1500lb each range.
I don't want to raise my truck beyond stock ride height.
I am not concerned about the ride.
For the last thirty years I have been driving 350's and a 450.
I-beam to bump stop clearance is 1 5/8.
I would like for it to be 2 1/2 or so.
I went with those also on my F100/I6. I thought my old springs after 49 years holding up their job was enough. They added about a 1-1/4' lift. Just enough to make the truck level empty.

Cool.
Im putting off a bunch of projects that I want to do because the truck is running and driving so good Im scared to fix something that isn't broke.
