I saw an article in Peterson's I think. It was an equasion for both leaf and coil spring to calculate spring rates
For the leaves it was something like: (spring width x # of leaves)^3
------------------------
(12,500)
I need the exact formula for coil springs and leave springs because i"m trying to fingure something out.
Thanks
Dustim
I'd be interested in a formula like that too, but I don't see how it could be accurate without at least knowing the width, thickness and length of each leaf in the pack.
