Yup, magnet looks fine. It's when you see metal flakes stuck to it that's bad.
Also some things like bronze won't stick to the magnet, so make sure to look at the coating of oil stuck to the pan for metal flakes there.

No sir, that is flash from my phone's camera. I had soaked the inside of the pan with purple power so that's probably just reflection. There was nothing but black/grey stuff...nothing shiny
