Hey I would Love some custom Batteries next time I need them
Any Aftermarket batteries anymore seems to have recycled Lead in them and Die Fast Most AM Batteries seam to be Junk anymore really if they go 4 years that's Good but your on Borrowed time it seams like
So if possible I would like CMK Batteries that would be Sweet honestly You could bump the CCA up some
What are you Running in your truck now?? CMK Batteries?? What CCA are they at??
It might be a bit of a road trip for you to get the CMK batteries. LOL
The CMK batteries do not run silly things like SGII or DashBoss. They only run quality data monitors such as Edge Insight and AE. Just an FYI
Interesting^^^ That's how I have Topped mine off too in the Past just used Distilled water Heck when I was a Teenager I would just slap tap water in them LOL But I have been using Distilled water for the last 10 years or so
Maybe we need to use Sulfuric acid IDK maybe its hard to get or maybe its a Bad Idea IDK
Maybe we need to look into Desulfating the Batteries
I haven't ever done that and don't know much or really anything about it It don't sound to hard to do but IDK what involved But I keep reading that it helps them last longer
My Dad about 10 years ago was a dealer for Trojan Battery Co. I always thought they were a good commercial Battery. Does Jim Thompson still own this Co.
Yea, it's not your typical $15 trickle charger, it does alot more than trickle charge. The price may seem high, but it prolongs the life of the batteries ($ saved there) and with good batteries, you help prevent FICM and potential injector issues (mucho $$ saved there)
So it will pay for itself easily. Even if your truck only sits on the weekend...use it then.
Just wanted to give an update on this.
Checked voltage before hooking up the BatteryMINDer 1500, it was 12.45 volts
Hooked up BatteryMINDer 1500 to truck and left it there for 3 days.
Removed BatteryMINDer 1500 and checked volts, it was 13.12 volts
Started the truck and it roared to life, wow.
It will be on my truck from now on when the truck is not being used.
You have the let the batteries settle after charging to get a true voltage reading.
Glad it worked out for ya.
Josh
^^^^^ X2 what Josh said. I hope you got your 1500 on the Battery Mart sale! I've got two on order and have a couple of batteries that I want to see if they can resurrect...

I purchased through BatteryMINDer, It was about $50.
I like the fact I can plug it in and forget about it. I just glance at it and see the LEDs and know what's going on.
