I have never had a particular brand that I could say was no good. I have had expensive Diehards, cheap advance auto and autozone batteries. They all seem to give the same service. I have bought the autozone Duralast the last couple of times because I like the handle that comes with it.
I would pick a store that is most convienent to you that has a good warrenty, and buy theirs, whoever they are. They all use the same technology except the Optima batteries. I have never had one, and they are very expensive, but I here good things about them. And they are a different design than all the other automotive type batteries.
