Is this the foil covered hole in question? Don't want to use pass thru, first off cuz those are nice, thick, hi current wires & I have other plans for them, plus the wiring for the sensor is a nice finished harness with a weatherproof plug at the end that I really don't wanna cut up.
I pulled the rubber grommet from behind the brake pedal that was around a wire harness. Cut a slit in the grommet to push my gauge's connector through, pushed grommet back in, tied cables up to keep out of the way..
On a related issue (and yes, I did search and read through the tech postings) how does one remove the panel under the radio? I see two screws behind the cup holder and two for that hook part on the bottom right. Do I just pull it out? I tried but it didn't move and was afraid of breaking something.
