tranny wont shift

i recently installed a used ip and it lasted about a month so i installed a reman pump and now the truck will not shift into any gear without me manually shifting them. if i put the truck into drive it will not shift into any gear besides 2nd. the truck will not shift into 3rd at all.i have tried adjusting the vrv both ways.i have taken it off and made sure it spun freely. i tried playing with the kick down rod to make sure it was not stuck down and i also made sure the module on the tranny had vaccum,im clueless please help

If the tranny is indeed getting correct amount of vacuum, then either your VRV is bad, or the vacuum modulator is bad.

Pull the vacuum line off the modulator and if oil comes out of the line, or the modulator, it's bad!

If that's ok, then has to be the VRV.

if you have vacuum into the VRV and none out then you have a bad VRV
if i remember correctly the vacuum source should be to the top port, and the bottom port should go to the modulator.
