But when you find them, don't just replace #2 COP. First swap it with the #1 COP to see if the COP is really the problem.
The P0352 that AE found is indicating that the PCM did not receive a valid IDM (Ignition Diagnostic Module) pulse to indicate that the primary circuit for #2 failed. The #2 COP has a small part to play in that circuit, but as projectSHO89, so does the wiring harnes and the coil driver circuit within the PCM.
So if your lucky, swaping the #2 COP with #1 may prove that the COP was the culprit in the primary circuit if AE then finds a P0351. If not you may want to review this thread: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...0-seconds.html
which never posted a final solution
Looks like spark plug blew out. and now that I am doing some digging on that subject I guess it is not uncommon. I think the threads in the head are trash since I can get a plug to start. Found a recommended time sert kit p/n 5553 that comes in just shy of $400. Looks like I can get an OEM COP for about $12 off ebay, not sure what local stealerships want yet. Damn wish there was a place to rent that kit. Oh well guess it could be worse. I will look around before adding another kit to the old chest of tools that Hopefully I will only need one time.
thanks all
