Missing a few interior pieces for hood release
Can anyone tell me how the hood release pull was attached to the dash? Was it a basic setup, like 2 bolts, 2 washer, 2 nuts? or was there a couple of special fasteners? My hood release has been hanging ever since I bought it. I'd like to re-secure with the original fasteners, but I cant find a part number. If I cannot find them, I'll just use nuts/washers/bolts.

Self tapping screws have been used for many applications for over 200 years.
If you insist on buying FoMoCo screws, closest source to Tacoma: JOE HAYWARD FORD in Dallas OR has EIGHT: 503-623-8361.
Parts catalog pic shows 55914-S but pics do not always show complete standard (aka hardware) part number suffixes.
So, the actual part number is: 55914-S2 I would have listed it this way originally, but I didn't think you'd want genuine Ford screws since the same fracatta screws are available elsewhere.
