IH Navistar Part numbers

Anyone have the cross over part number for
3C3Z-9433-AB
It's the EGR gasket set.

I also will need the oil filter O-rings.

Thanks
Sean

Do the gaskets not come with the EGR cooler or did you find a "used" one? You know those are all reusable, right?

I got my hands on a removed cooler that the guy was doing a delete.
He put it on Ebay I I got it as a core only to find out it s BPD cooler.
Guess what I paid......Wait for it.........$24.95 plus a little for shipping.

So the gaskets I will be replacing will be the ones for the EGR set
and IF the intake are tired then I will do them. The top was off that
engine in Dec 2011 for head gaskets and oil cooler.

What would be my luck is I get my current cooler off and find it a BPD
cooler. But that aside I do want to clean the intake.

Off to bed it after 3:00 AM here

You could always get the gasket set and return it if you're happy with the way yours look. I think my donut gasket under the intake was reused several times, as was the blue hose and intake gaskets. I did mostly new gaskets with the "new" motor "just because".

What parts in the set can be reused?
I am guessing that the two metal exhaust gaskets can't.
I am of the training that reuse was not a good option.
Like the intake gaskets are so inexpensive I would replace them
if I were in there.

Actually everything can, especially the intake to head gaskets. Most folks don't want to hear it though--LOL. The only one that doesn't ring a bell for me is the small o-ring, and I never had a problem with the metal ones leaking.

Any some people don't understand why it costs so much to overhaul
the little engine in there Cessna 172. So many new parts and all the gaskets.

Not to mention my school costs.

I can see why it would be a requirement on an aircraft engine where a little leak can be a HUGE problem. Not so much on a Superduty though. Regardless, for no more than what you're doing I'd pass on the gaskets unless you think you're going to tear one up. I don't see any of them being a problem (knock on wood).
