I have front windshield trim in good condition off of my 75 f100 xlt ranger. It's the kind that slips in to the gasket and covers it up so you only see the trim and no black from the gasket. Would like to sell it and was wondering what a set goes for?
I was planning on using craigslist but I might give ebay a try. I just don't understand how to do the packaging and shipping when I;m selling something.

I just factor shipping into my asking price (I don't do auctions)...
If you want $100 for something, ask $120 for it and offer "free shipping".
Between Ebay and Paypal we get ripped a new one anyway....so I just bump my price up front and offer "free shipping"
Yep it's the stainless steel. Cool I'll get it shined up good then. Thanks!
I just had my SS trim polished by Advanced plating, the quote said the longest pieces were 37" long. They also have a pretty good curve to them so it'll take something bigger than 2" PVC to ship them.
Just a note, when this stuff is polished it looks GREAT.
I sold a nice set on ebay for 65 plus shipping. ebay has a function that will help you figure out shipping cost. I made a box out of cardboard for mine and wrapped individual pieces in paper towels. It wasn't pretty, but the buyer was happy.
