You can use a vacuum/boost gauge just the vacuum side wont be used (unless your air filter is clogged). As far as where to tap into personally I used the intake snail but in theory the waste gate line should work.
Opinions on Glowshift gauges vary widely.
Personally, I feel they added an extra 'f' to their name...
I'd recommend a better brand, I lean towards VDO, but several other good brands out there.
Also if a 3 in 1 gauge has one part fail, thats a big expense to fix, and its more likely to fail than a simple one function gauge.
Furthermore, unless you're doing some SERIOUS! upgrades to your engine, you only need a gauge that goes up to like 20 PSI or so (mines a 0-15PSI and works great).
I'd just go with a cheap $20-$30 Ebay gauge. Should be plenty accurate for what you want to do, and doesn't cost a lot. Easy to replace if it fails, which actually doesn't seem to happen that often.
I got one from autozone for 25$ It worked great. I got four glowshift gauges, and I'm satisfied with them. They are not digital though. If you're going to do anything major, I would suggest better gauges though.
