e99 spyder install questions
I'm looking at my e99 spyder and it has three fittings, two for vacuum lines and another for a sensor. I blocked off the sensor with an NPT plug. Can I just cut off and weld closed the vacuum line fittings? Any suggestions on a good o-ring for the spyder/turbo seal and where to tap the boost gauge on the spyder?

Ya, i just jb welded those after I cut them off and had no issues on mine.
You need a factory square cut oring for the turbo to spyder.
You should move the map line to the hot side of the spyder. Then you can either t into that for the boost gauge, or tap another spot on the hot side beside the map.

Like others have said, you need NOTHING sticking out the front or you will not get it in of your factory fuel bowl is still there and it is STILL tight. I JB welded all the holes shut after I removed all the BS.
The factory O-ring for the E99 was NOT thick enough to seal on my OBS turbo.
I used a Purelator classic oil filter L14459 Square cut O-ring
