I just bought a new in box APC powerglow Mechanical Boost Gauge, It Came with metal fittings and copper line. Naturally there is nothing in the instructions about how to install it. It looks like I should tap into a metal line somewhere, there are metal threaded fittings.
My truck is an '88 7.3 which has just had a Garrett / early powerstroke turbo added with intercooler.
The piece that screws down over the intake manifold where the air cleaner sets on a natural aspirated motor should have a plug in it. Or at least the ATS turbo system has one. Hope your aftercooler did not remove that piece. That is a good place so you do not have to drill holes and tap threads putting metal shavings in you intake.
