I am doing so maintenance on my truck, after I had a hole punctured in the driver side innercooler pipe and because I am loosing boost I checking every think that is attached to the turbo. I have come to the Map sensor line and see that the Part on the turbo that you plug the line into is just sled in there. and really no seal unless I am missing something. and the part moves up and down really easy which I think can cause a boost leak. y ideas on sealing this elbow up or does it not need to be. I have attached a picture to show what I am talking about. Thanks

 

If it will come all the way out, you could clean everything up and use some Loctite 680 or Permatex sleeve retaining compound on it. Or (and I don't remember if it's actually staked from the inside) you might be able to restake it from the inside.

 

I took out the middle sensor so I could take it out. I will put lock tight on it. Thanks for the help.

 

Just tap into it and thread put a npt dont remember the size. Or just use some of the IH silicon or motorcraft.
