Still Smokes, Ideas?
06 CC F350, 72,000, original EGR cooler and oil cooler. She was bellowing white smoke, mostly on take off from a stop, no sweet anti freeze smell, coolant level remains good, pulled the EGR and had a look, nice dry black soot, soooo figured it was the internal turbo seals, took it apart and they didn't look real good so replaced them, the rest of the turbo looked good, no sticking, and I'll be danged if it still doesn't blow smoke although it doesn't seem quite as bad?? IDEAS???

I stay on top of the oil changes, I can only smell diesel when I have my wife take off while I am standing next to the truck. My first thought was injector but most have pointed me to the turbo followed by EGR, I will try the vacuum test on Wednesday. How long does it take to burn residue? Dealership did an oil change just before I noticed all this, the level was just a hair above max, could this cause the smoke? Thanks for response, still open to ideas.
