I had a 95 gas rig which had a fuel pump shut-off in case of an accident. It was located behind the kick panel in front of the passenger door. It is possible they also put these on diesel rigs.
I tried my experiment! I flipped the switch and tapped the device. A red light on it illuminted and that was it lol. It lit up for about a second then turned off. I tapped it again and it did it again. Beats me!

The IDI diesels don't have an electric fuel pump from the factory, so no rollover switch. Also, Ford doesn't label their modules like that. They usually just have a paper label on them with the part number.
That module should have a pair of wires that go out to a loudspeaker under the hood.
