Superchips DTC reader returns weird codes
P6172
P32;7 (no keyboard error the code has a ";" in it!)
P6936
I had my CPS go out today while driving. A tow home situation because I didn't have a spare CPS. I've ordered 2 new Borg Warner CPS's from Amazon dot com to fix my P0344 and will clean out my EBPV tube to fix the P0478, but has anyone seen or know what the weird codes are for?
Seeking any information, and thanks for reading.
Regards,
SimonC.
- Bad Superchips DTC reader
- Bad OBDII connection or module connection
- Bad module in truck (either sending the wrong signal or contaminating the good signal)
- Shorting/opening wire somewhere on one of your data lines
Today I cleared the codes and tried to restart. It actually restarted OK after 3 futile attempts yesterday.
I rechecked the codes, it threw P0475 EBPV (which I've deleted), P0541 AIH (which I've also deleted), and a P0603 Intl ctrl mod KAM error (I've had this a few times over the years).
Anyway the P0344 CPS circuit sensor code has gone.
I've ordered a spare but it will take a week to get all the way down here.
How reliable is my truck with the original sensor????? Should I drive it?
My wife wants me to haul her full horse trailer on Sunday - she was not amused when I suggested that if the truck broke down we could ride the horses home.... And she's the one that likes horseback riding!
