ignition/electrical issues
I've got a 74 ford f100 302-c4 . Just got motor put in. It'll turn over but won't start. Does anyone have pictures of how solenoid should be wired up or have any other tips? Not getting spark.

Got it. The wiring for points is pretty simple. Regarding the starter solenoid, a RED with BLUE stripe wire should go to the 'S' terminal of the solenoid. I would imagine you have this correct since the motor is turning over. A BROWN wire should go from the 'I' terminal of the solenoid to the positive terminal of the coil. The ballast resistor also goes from hot-in-RUN off the ignition key to the positive terminal of the coil. The negative terminal of the coil goes to the points and condenser in the distributor.
Turn the key to RUN. If the points are OPEN, you should see 12 volts at the coil. Check that as a first step.
