Went and shopped a few shops today (No pun intended) and the most professional one looked the job up in his computer and said 1.5 hours, but I'm sure I can go it in less. How does an hours labor sound? I asked how much an hour and he said $47 so I got an appt. for Monday

Sorry this install gave you problems. What was giving you a hard time on this?

Always a great time to learn how-to-do something with an ex. Going to have a lot of future chances to climb underneath to fix something. You should re-tighten all the bolts a couple of weeks later too. Mine sure needed it!

Good for you! Glad you found someone reasonable.

True, I'm sure once installed he will understand it and be able to go back and re-tighten after running a few hundred miles.

I have no problem getting dirty and love more than anything to get in and wrench on my truck, I'm just not able to at the moment. I don't have the strength or the energy to at the moment. Maybe in a few months but until then I want that bar on

Well had it installed today along with new shocks. Old ones were the factory one I'm sure so that was nice to know it's up to date now. Bar seems good, handles much better but now all I want to do is get another little 94 Escort GT to zoom around in

It did make a huge improvement, I can't understand why it wasn't standard
