CHECK ENGINE LIGHT!!!

OK, my check engine light comes on and the engine goes to idle only, push the go pedal and it stays at idle, won't do anything but idle for about 10-30 seconds then the light goes off and runs fine until it happens again....barely made it home last night, stalled like that about 6 times before i got home, i only live 5 miles from work... What can it be?????

Likely a Throttle Position Sensor, but you need codes or a scan tool to confirm.

Thanks Tugly....Only place i have around here is the stealership.....limped it there / barely made it, they said it was the TPS, need to replace whole assembly... $500

i am buying an AE once i recover from these added cost i'm having, after 2 trips to the stealership for scanning, 1 for injector issues and 2 for a TPS, i could have bought one..., $148 plus tax for diagnostic service.....
