rebuilding a 460
using stock heads and intake
putting in pistons and cam,
any recommendations for pistons to get me 10:1 compression
and recommendations for a good mild performance cam?
engine does not need bored out
Being as you don't have pistons yet how do you know it does not need bored ? Different pistons need different clearances. I"d just figure on going to the next over size, you don't want to buy a set and find out they won't work.
2x with Mark... if rebuilding yourself, bring the block to the machinist and get the specs for the new parts. If not, always get the invoices from the machine shop so you have a record on what parts were installed.
Because it has such little wear I am tempted to just hone to .010 over then buy over sized pistons, I just wanna know what some good flat top or dome top pistons I should buy and what kinda performance street cam works good in these engines

The bores may not appear to have telltale wear but have ya actually measured determine whether it has been previously bored?
Pistons come .010 over? I know bearings do, and pistons for motorcycles do, but car/truck pistons?

Year of your heads will determine what pistons you will need to get the proper compression ratio. A 10:1 iron headed 460 with a mild cam will be very picky on fuel. What is the intent of your build, towing, racing...? My mild cam 460 at 9.3:1 needs 91 oct for anything other than light criuse in cool weather. I would get it bored over and start with straight bores and a good ring seal, money well spent.
