getting a single click noise
yesterday i went to go start my truck and it just giving a single click it sounded like its coming from the solenoid so i replaced it and still nothing still getting just one single click noise, could it be my starter?? yesterday i had it running about 2 hours before this happened? has this happened to anyone before?

Turn the headlights on and watch them while someone tries to start it. If they go completely out when they try to start it, then you have a dead/bad battery or a bad connection at the battery or a bad battery cable.
If the headlights stay fairly bright when you hear the click, then yes it might be the starter, or a loose wire on the starter, or a bad ground to the starter(the starter may be loose).
