It's that place where you fall asleep watching a movie, then wake up and drive away without removing the speaker from your window. Or so I'm told
I've been away from the So. Cal. chapter posting for so long I almost missed this one.
Drive in's that brings back memories. I grew up down the street from the Starlight Drive-in on Rosemead Blv. I remember every kid in their pajamas The swings were happening at intermission and the speakers, oh yeah the speakers.
I remember seeing drive-in speakers behind grilles of cars. The ones where you accidently drove off with it, then hooked it up to your cars radio and put it behind the grille of your car. A lot of the cruisers had these speakers like that, not saying it was right but I remember seeing them.
so my friends conned me into going golfing with them about a year ago.... beer was involved and rental golf carts so it was worth it to me!
so today after borrowing a few clubs for the last year i picked up a set of golf clubs today.... nothing special, trade-ins at the roger dunn golf store in north hollywierd. don't know jack about them but for 90 dollars got a sand wedge, pitching wedge, and 2-9 irons a 3 wood and a driver.
maybe next week i might go back and see what i can find for a putter for 10 dollars. for now off to craigslist for a bag and golf tomorrow in sylmar.
I gave up golfing; too dang frustrating. Disc golf is much more relaxed and the beer goes down just as smooth.
Gettin' that little red lantern into shape Justin. That dang red paint was everywhere.
Also managed to get out to Lake Casitas mid week for some camping with the boys. They have a 36 hole disc golf course there too...
holy smokes sean! that poor 200A probably don't know what hit it! looks awesome! happen to do any research on the other lantern? the fount look reasonable? i.e. no rust issues that you've seen so far?
oh Lake Casitas i haven't been there in 12 to 15 years, used to go at least 2 times or more in the summer when i was a kid, with my grandpa in his RV. i really want to get out there sometime.
